Dr. Shyamal Raval completed his MBBS in 2001 from Dr. PDM Medical College, Amravati, Maharashtra. He further specialized in ophthalmology, earning his M.S. degree in June 2006 from SRMC and RI Chennai. Dr. Raval's advanced training includes a Fellowship in Refractive Cataract Surgery (FREC) and specialized training in Phacoemulsification and Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation at Iladevi Research Institute, Ahmedabad, from 2006 to 2008.
Dr. Raval has held esteemed positions in several renowned institutions:
• Ex Consultant at Shalby Hospital (2009-2011)
• Ex Consultant at Vasan Eye Care, Ahmedabad (2012-2015)
• Ex Chief Phaco and LASIK Surgeon at Eye Care Hospital with Dr. Shashank Rathod (November 2015 - June 2024)
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Raval has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries and 4,000 LASIK surgeries, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication to patient care.
