With over 25 years of dedicated service in Ophthalmology, Dr.Smita Dheer has consistently worked towards the betterment of her patients' vision and quality of life. She completed her PHACO fellowship in 2004 and advanced GLAUCOMA training in 2007. Since then, she has been actively treating patients with Cataract and Glaucoma. For over a decade, Dr.Dheer served at a charitable eye hospital, where she performed thousands of surgeries and treated varied type of patients. Her experience further broadened at CIMS hospital, Ahmedabad, where she managed complex cases involving multisystem disorders and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

She has been working at Occura Eyecare Hospital since its inception. In her commitment to offer the most advanced care to patients. She pursued specialized training in Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery(MIGS)at a premier institute of INDIA. Dr.Dheer also heads the Children's Vision Therapy Center and Myopia Clinic at Occura Eyecare Hospital. She is passionate about addressing visual issues in children, helping them regain confidence and providing reassurance to parents through personalized, compassionate care.
